Confirm each item before publication or archival reference use:
- Every quotation matches the source.
- Distinctive phrases retained exactly are quoted and attributed.
- Paraphrases preserve the original claim strength and qualification.
- Source claim and my interpretation are visibly separate.
- A source example is not presented as if it were the source’s main evidence.
- No source is cited for a claim it does not actually support.
- Secondary claims have been moved toward primary sources when material.
- Numbers have units, baseline, timeframe, and denominator where needed.
- Contradictory evidence is not silently omitted.
- I know why each source is in the piece.
- The piece contains enough original analysis or application to justify the reader choosing it rather than the source alone.
